Auzentech has announced the availability of its X-Fi Home Theater HD card for July. It is a high range card that has been designed with HTPCs in mind. It has of course a X-Fi chip as well as 64 MB of X-Ram which means it can handle EAX 5.0 HD in D3D and OpenAL. Still on the audio side, it supports the DTS connect function and Dolby Digital Live to send DTS or Dolby flows from its S/PDIF outs. This PCI Express card is also equipped with two HDMI 1.3a ports managed by a Silicon Image controller. The analogue out has been announced with an SNR of 109 dB(A) and the in with an SNR of 98 dB(A). The price has not yet been announced.
