     ForceWare 163.71 beta, already?

    Logo NvidiaOn the first day of autumn, Nvidia released its new beta driver, the ForceWare 163.71. Available in 32 and 64-bit versions in Windows Vista and Windows XP, they are, as is usually the case, destined for all of their desktop GPUs which support at least the Shader Models 3.0 (as well as the GeForce FX for the Windows XP versions).

    Besides the correction of several bugs, which involve the proper functioning of SLI in a number of specific cases, there is especially an improvement in compatibility with PT Boats: Knights of the Sea and the addition of an SLI profile for Team Fortress 2. These are offered for download on nZone which moreover promises WHQL certification for Windows XP versions. The way things are going, some may choose to wait for the possible arrival of ForceWare 163.73 beta...
