According to DigiTimes, AMD is facing a supply shortage for the European and Asian markets. The shortage isn’t connected to production issues but follows the average 30% Athlon 64 CPU prices cut in July.
The shortage include the Athlon 64 2800+, 3000+, 3200+ and FX-53 CPU and the whole recently released Sempron range. The stocks should be replenish in overseas markets within the next one to two weeks
