ATI has put version 9.10 of its Catalyst drivers online. This is the first version to support officially the Radeon 5800s, but bizarrely not the 5700s yet: users will have to be content with the drivers supplied with their card while waiting for version 9.11.

On the menu of innovations, note the arrival of GPU acceleration for the new transcoding application introduced by Windows 7, as well as supersampling for the Radeon HD 5800 series. Several bugs have also been corrected.
