 While ForceWare 169.21 just obtained WHQL certification, ATI has just put Catalyst 7.12 on-line.
OverDrive management has improved for the Radeon HD 2900 and they can now be easily overclocked in CrossFire. In terms of performances, AMD’s graphic division announces a gain of up to 5% with the Radeon HD 3800 in Company of Heroes in DirectX 10 mode.
Finally, a number of bugs were fixed affecting proper functioning of Call of Duty, Combat Mission: Shock Force Demo v1.02, Crysis, Dark Messiah, El Matador, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, FEAR, FlightSim X, GTA San Andreas, Hellgate, Infernal, Lord of the Rings Return of the King, Lost Planet, Quake 4, The Sims 2 and World in Conflict in Windows Vista or Call of Juarez, DIRT, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and STALKER in Windows XP.
Note there is also an Avivo update and now the Catalyst Control Center will only indicate what is supported by the driver based on the card in your PC.
