EVGA has announced the release of a new card based on the GTX 275: the GTX 275 CO-OP PhysX Edition. It’s made up of a single PCB with a GT200b for 3D and a GT92b (a GTS 250) for physics. The GT200b has 896 MB of GDDR3 on a 448-bit bus and the GT92b 384 MB of GDDR3 on a 192-bit bus. The pairing also have different clocks: 633/1296/1134 MHz for the GTX 275 and 738/1836/1100 for the GT 250.

The bundle includes a coupon to download the inevitable Batman: Dark Asylum and has been announced at 299 euros, which makes it about the same price as buying a GTX 275 and a GTS 250 separately – but with Batman for free and using just one PCI-Express port. While interest for such a card will be limited to games benefitting from PhysX hardware, we can only salute what is a very original solution.

Noctua has announced the official release of the NH-D14, an outsize cooler (160x140x158 mm) that weighs in at a not insignificant 1240 grams. The NH-D14 is made up of two aluminium radiators linked by six heatpipes and cooled with two fans. The first fan is set between two aluminium blocks and is an NF-P14 measuring 140 mm and turning 1300 times/min at a noise level of 19.6 dB. The second is an NF-P12, also measuring 140 mm, turning 1200 times/min and with a noise level of 19.8 dB.

The design of the NH-D14 is asymetric, which means that the blocks aren’t aligned perfectly with the block in contact with the CPU but placed slightly to the side so as not to get in the way of the memory slots. This cooler comes with the SecuFirm2 mounting system that is compatible with Intel LGA 1366, 1156 and 775 sockets as well as the AMD AM3, AM2 and AM2+. Noctua have announced an MTBF of over 150,000 hours. The NH-D14 comes in at 74.90 euros, is guaranteed for 6 years and will be available as of mid November.

Klsipch has announced the release of a new version of the Promedia 2.1. Nothing revolutionary in terms of design: it's sober and true to the brand. The innovation comes in the form of a USB dongle that functions at 2.4 GHz and means you no longer need to link the speakers to the content source. Obviously, you have to plug the Promedia 2.1 Wireless into the mains, but you do get rid of one cable...

The tech spec is the usual Promedia 34 watts per satellite and 50 watts for the subwoofer. Maximum acoustic output is 106 dB SPL and the satellites are still equipped with MicroTractrix speakers. Availability has been announced for the end of 2009 at a cost of $199.
