Logo sphère ATIIf, end of July, ATI though that sales of the last quarter (ending August 31) would be of $620 to $660 million, the Canadian manufacturer has seriously revised this figure downward and announced sales of $520 million approximately.

The manufacturer indicates that this reduction would be due to slower sales of integrated chipset for Intel platform. If this factor is part of the equation, we believe that the purchase of ATI by AMD might not be the only reason of this reduction. The latter has been announced only end of July and that doesn't explain such a difference.
