Title: Samsung first for 27" monitors
Description: Samsung is the first manufacturer to officially announce an LCD monitor with a 27" diagonal panel. The 275T features an S-PVA, 6 ms response time panel and a resolution of 1920*1200 pixels like 24" monitors. The inputs available are the VGA of course but also the DVI, S-Video and YUV.

Of course, having such a resolution with a bigger diagonal comes with a price: the monitor pitch considerably increases from 0,269mm with a 24" to 0,303mm. This is much more than a 19" (0,294mm) which is already considered as big by some of the users! The Samsung 275T is scheduled to be released in the US at $999.

To compared, here are the US prices of the current Dell 24" and 30": $674 and $1274. Dell will release soon a 27" monitor based on the same panel as the 275T, the Samsung LTM270M1.
