Title: Two die for a Socket 775 (update)
Description: A few days ago, a weird auction started on Ebay. It isn’t the 'Virgin Mary' toast, but an Intel processor equipped with two silicon dies on a single Socket 775 platform.

Is it true or false? Hard to tell, and it isn’t even possible to see here the future dual core Pentium 4 design, as we know that many mutant processors, escaped from Intel’s laboratory, will never be in shops.

This type of processor would reduce Intel’s first dual-core Pentium 4 development cycle, but releasing a dual core processor with two separated dies at a time when AMD will have dual core processors on a single die won’t strengthen Intel’s intended position as technological leader.

Update: This is a actually a fake sale by auction. The picture is also a fake. The person who initiated this auction indicates that he did this to see how fast the information would circulate on internet. Well it has circulated quite fast!
