Title:
Celeron D 345
Description:
A new processor Intel has been released since a couple of days in Japan. The Celeron D 345, not officially announced yet, is clocked at 3.06 GHz. Like previous versions, this 90 nm processor, uses the FSB533 and is equipped with 256 KB of cache L2.
This processor, sold 15280 Yens ($148.9) should not overshadow the Sempron 3100+. The Sempron already provided superior performances to the D 335 and 340 clocked at 2.8 and 2.93 GHz.
For the time being only the Socket 478 version is in shops. The Socket 775 versions should be released in the days to come. This processor will be compatible with the XD Bit like all other Celeron Socket 775 and should be called 345J.
