The end of the Northwood

Intel has just announced via
this document
that the 130 nm « Northwood » processors production will be discontinued. Last survivors are the Pentium 4 2.8C, 3.0C, 3.2C and 3.4C GHz. November 9th production stopped, but Intel’s customers will still be able to order until May 18th, 2005 and deliveries will continue until May 19th, 2006 for OEMs and June 17th, 2005 in its package version.
