After Samsung with the SpinPoint M6 and Western Digital with the Scorpio Blue, it’s now Fujitsu’s turn to announce a 500 GB hard drive at 5400 rpm. Like the other models mentioned above, the Fujitsu M250 impresses due to a density allowing it to give this capacity using only only 2 platters, while the first 2"1/2 500 GB drives at the beginning of the year used 3. The Fujitsu M250 is a standard 9.5mm high then and will fit in all notebooks.
