DigiTimes has reported that AMD is planning to bring forward the launch of these 45nm quad cores. The manufacturer is said to be working towards a mid-October launch of 9 processors, all Opteron and supporting the company’s socket F. They are reported to clock at between 2.3 and 2.7 GHz. Remember that the Phenom 45nms are expected to be available as of January 8, in 2.8 and 3.0 GHz versions.
