Chile Hardware has published the AMD roadmap for the last quarter of 2008. In October, we’ll see the new Phenom X3, the 8850, clocked at 2.5GHz as against 2.4 GHz for the 8750 at the moment. The Athlon X2 5050e will also be out, clocked at 2.6 GHz and retaining a TDP of 45W like all the previous models in the range. The fastest model in the range, the 4850e, is clocked at 2.5 GHz.

November will be the month for lower end solutions, with the Athlon 2650e at 1.6 GHz with a TDP of 15W and the Athlon X2 3250e 1.5 GHz with a TDP of 22W. In December AMD will launch the new Phenom X3 8850 which will have an unlocked multiplier: although this might be understandable on high end X4 models, it is harder to see what this type of CPU might be useful for. The roadmap finishes with confirmation of the Phenom 45nm launch for January. They’ll have a slightly over-inflated TDP of 125W and be clocked at 3 and 2.8 GHz, while the Phenom 65nm currently on the market has a ceiling of 2.6 GHz.
