Nvidia has officially launched the GeForce 9400 GT which will finally be equipped with a G96(b) and not the aging G86. By the way, the final frequencies are much more ambitious than those that were initially announced.

Even if the 9400 GT is basically half a GeForce 9500 GT, it will be a step above the GeForce 8400 GS which it replaces in the 50€-60€ (taxes included) segment. Its price may vary depending on the type of cooling system (active or passive) and the quantity of memory (256 or 512MB). It should be available very soon from numerous partners including ASUS, BFG, Colorful, Emtek, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision, Leadtek, MSI, Palit, PC Partner/Zotac, PNY, Point of View, Unika, Unitek and XFX.
