AMD denies via its spokesman, Jake Whitman, the cancelation of its new dual core solution, code named the Kuma. Based on the ‘’Star’’ core like the Phenom X4 and X3, this chip is engraved in 65nm and has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and an L3 cache of 2 MB.

Mr. Whitman did not give any other details on the release other than it would be in the second half of the year. At the end of last year, the Kuma was planned for the first half of 2008 and on the first roadmaps in late 2006 it was even planned for the third quarter of 2007.
