     AMD: Radeon's HD 3000 AGP

    Today, AMD announced the availability of the Radeon HD 3650 512 MB and 3850 AGP 8X in France with recommended retail prices of 89€ and 139€, respectively. We should be able to find these cards in Sapphire, TUL and ASUSTek lines, amongst others. Quite optimistically, the American company declared that the AGP market will celebrate its 11 years of existence in October and is estimated at roughly 20% in France.

    Otherwise, the Radeon HD 2400 and 2600 AGP 8X are still available for around 44€ and 65€. As for Nvidia, they haven’t released anything in AGP since the GeForce 7800 GS and seem to have entirely abandoned this niche market to its rival. It’s still not too late for a last upgrade...
