A wave of GeForce 9600 GTs

Most graphic card manufacturers that work with Nvidia have announced their respective GeForce 9600 GTs.

Some like Gigabyte, Albatron, and Biostar are currently offering cards equipped with the reference cooling system at standard frequencies.

Others like BFG, Leadtek and XFX are doing practically the same thing although slightly overclocking the cards, sometimes by just a few MHz.

More interesting is Palit, Gainward, MSI and Vvikoo which go a little further by cards equipping their models with different fans and slightly more aggressive overclocking: 700MHz for the GPU and up to 1000 MHz for memory. Note that MSI proposes a 1 GB card (a strong likelihood that it could prove to be useless with the G94’s 64 scalar processors) and Vvikoo will launch a version cooled by a Zalman copper VF1000 and with a DisplayPort output. The latter will also be found on Palit’s solution.
