Logo NvidiaAccording to information from graphic card manufacturers, starting February 7th Nvidia will offer a 65nm high end GeForce 9 (D9E) which will support DirectX 10.1’s Shader Model 4.1. A mid-level model (D9P) engraved in 55nm will follow in June.

D9-type nomenclature will not replace the code name (Gxx) and therefore does not correspond to a specific GPU but rather the product’s positioning on the market. We should expect the D9E and D9P to be around 500€ and 200€, respectively.
