One German shop already sells the Asus P5K3 Deluxe WiFi-AP motherboard at 244 € VAT included, even if the chipset of this motherboard will only be announced in June at Computex.
The principal innovation of this product is the DDR3 memory. It can support up to four modules of 2 GB (8 GB in total). The higher official FSB supported will be 1333MHz and the card has, additionally to the three PCI 32bits slots, two PCI-E 1X, two PCI-E 16X including one 4X and is compatible with the Crossfire technology.
DDR3 memory is supposed to be currently available in Japan and it is already possible, at least theoretically, to build up a Bearlake-DDR3 platform. |
