DailyTech has published pictures of Nvidia's reference cards based on GeForce 8600 and some of the GTS and GT specifications. These information confirm the announcement made by OCWB and reported in this news two days ago. The GTS and GT core and memory will be clocked at 675/1000 and 540/700MHz and they will use 128-bit memory bus. Unfortunately, the number of processing units isn't yet known.

We have learned the maximum power consumption estimated by Nvidia: 71 watts for the 8600 GTS and 43 watts for the GT. By looking at these figures, we might question the need for a 2x3 pin PCI Express connector on the GTS version as the PCI Express x16 is capable of providing the 75 watts requested by the graphic card.
