Today, Intel releases the first SDD (solid state drives) based on NAND flash memory. The Z-U130 isn't, however, comparable to other SDD because of its USB interface. Based on this sole point, we could even say that Intel enters the internal USB flash drive market rather than the Solid State Drive!

According to the press release, the Z-U130 will have the following storage capacities: 1, 2, 4 and 8 GB. Interesting point, though, the product specification sheet doesn't mention the 8 GB version… Transfer rate announced are 28 MB/s reading and 20 MB/s writing. For now, Intel hasn't communicated the prices of these internal Flash USB drives.
