Intel has just given real names to the Bearlake chipsets to be released in 2007. We wrote a news about them last August. The Bearlake-P and Bearlake-X, respectively scheduled for the second and third quarter, becomes the P35 Express and X38 Express. These chipsets will replace the current P965 and i975X.
The P35 Express will support the FSB1333, DDR2-800 and the DDR3-1066. The X38 will support the FSB1333 but also the DDR3-1333, 2 PCI-Express x16 slots and the PCI Express 2.0 norm. The Intel Q35 and Q33 are two other chipsets of the same family dedicated to companies and limited to the DDR2-800. The Q35 will support the AMT Pro and Intel TXT, an encoding technology dedicated to information safety.
For integrated graphic, additionally to the G33 in Q2 which will be a P35 with a graphic core close to the current G965, there will be a G35 in Q3 that will bring the support of DirectX 10, HDMI and HDCP.
