The last version of AMD's « Athlon 64 Processor Power and Thermal Data Sheet » includes an unannounced Athlon 64 X2 processor: the 5000+. The exact OPN is ADA5000DAA5BV. Clocked at 2.6 GHz like the FX-60, it will only feature 512 KB of cache L2 per core as compared to 1MB for the FX. Thermal dissipation specifications are identical to the 4600+ (same cache but at 2.4 GHz): .3-1.35V and a TDP of 110W. We don't know yet when the processor will be released but our money is close to the day of the Pentium D 960 release.
