DDR2 for nF4 IE at Corsair Posted on 06/04/2005 at 10:46 by Marc
Following an agreement with NVIDIA, Corsair has equipped all test computers with nForce 4 SLI chipsets. After the chipset announcement, Corsair has made another one to give the list of all products certified for this platform:
- CM2X512A-5400UL / TWIN2X1024A-5400UL DDR2-675 in 3-2-2-8 - CM2X512A-6400 / TWIN2X1024A-6400 DDR2-800 in 5-5-5-12 - VS512MB667D2 / VS1GBKIT667D2 DDR2-667 in 5-5-5-15 - VS512MB533D2 / VS1GBKIT533D2 DDR2-533 in 4-4-4-8
Amongst these memory modules, the first three are new. Unfortunately, Corsair hasn’t communicated any additional information on them especially the 5400UL. Indeed the one we have received for one of our test didn’t work in 3-2-2 with the initial 1.8 voltage and we had to increase it to 2.0V. It is interesting to notice also that this memory module has easily reached the DDR2-960 mode with of course rather high timings of 5-5-5.
