CeBIT : Watercooling for Gigabyte Posted on 12/03/2005 at 03:19 by Marc
Like other motherboard makers, Gigabyte events during this CeBIT were all about new NVIDIA and Intel’s solution for Pentium 4. For the nForce 4 Intel Edition, Gigabyte will release the GA-8N-SLI Royal, for the i955X the GA-8I955X Royal and Pro (first one only features the Dual Power System and Dual Lan), and for the i945P the GA-8I945P Pro. New motherboards will be available between now and the end of May.
We have been surprised by this news, but Gigabyte has decided to launch new products on the water-cooling market with Pentium 4 and Athlon 64 solutions. Additionally to a rather standard waterblock, we have noticed another one with a fan on the top. This configuration left us a bit perplexes, because not really logical for a water-cooling solution.
Nothing new for graphic cards, except for the current lineup which still includes a lot of fanless solution.
