     100 Millions of VIA chipsets

    Last February 16, NVIDIA announced that the Company shipped more than one million NVIDIA chipsets nForce4. The next day, SiS announced to have shipped 2 millions of PCI Express chipsets, Intel and AMD platform included. Today, VIA announced to have shipped 100 millions chipsets for AMD platform. This collaboration started in 1994 with a chipset compatible with the processor Am486DX 40. Now we are waiting for Intel’s announcement…
