	Our last 4 megapixels and the next 5 megapixels tests showed that Kodak’s new strategic orientation was beneficial for their products. Digital cameras released this year are faster, more accurate, and nicer than their previous products. This quality improvement also improved third quarter 2004 US sales. With 19.8% of market shares Kodak reaches now the second position just behind Sony 20%. Third and fourth manufacturers are Canon (16%) and Olympus (12%).
