Sparkle were the first to announce a GTX 460 equipped with 2 GB of memory, this at the time of launch by NVIDIA. While we’re still waiting for the Sparkle card to appear, several other manufacturers have now stolen a march on them, even though such a memory capacity will only really make a difference at a resolution of 2560*1600 with AA synonymous with SLI.

Several days ago, Gainward announced its GeForce GTX 460 Golden Sample 2 GB, which has GPU/Shader clocks of 700/1400 MHz against 675/1350 by default. Now Zotac has hatched its card, which comes with a triple slot cooler, the Artcic Cooling Accelero TwinTurbo Pro, and one DisplayPort out. We don’t yet have pricing or availability for either.
