SuperTalent has launched a new range of flash drives, the Value SSDs (VSSD). Designed to make the SSD entry level ticket more accessible, these SSDs offer capacities that recall a far-off era when SSD capacities made them almost unusable as a system disk.
The VSSDs will be available in 8, 16, 32 and 64 GB versions, with respective speeds in reads and writes of 90/30, 90/30, 150/60 and 150/100 MB/s. The 8 GB version will be on sale at just $65 (€58), against $175 (€157) for the 64 GB version. No details have been given on the controller used.
