NVIDIA has announced improved results for the third quarter, with net income of $107.6 million up from a loss of $105.3 million the previous quarter and $61.7 million for the same period a year ago. Of course, last quarter NVIDIA had to take on a charge of $119.1 million resulting from last year's problems with the GeForce 8Ms.
Turnover is up 16.3% on the previous quarter and 0.6% on the same period last year to $903.2 million. NVIDIA, then, are doing very well and though we don’t have the details, each division in the company seems to have contributed to the results, in spite of the current difficult positioning of the manufacturer’s high-end GPUs.
