Seasonic has announced the availability of new X-Series power supplies. Two models are available for now; the X-650 and X-750, at 650 and 750 watts. They are both modular and meet the 80 Plus Gold standard, which means efficiency equal to or above 87%. The first is built on a 54A + 12V rail and the second on a 62A + 12V rail. They both use a Sanyo Denki 120 mm fan that is supposed to be silent and comes with PWM regulation. Three ventilation modes will be used by the power supply depending on temperature. 4 PCIe 6+2 pin, 8 Molex and 8 SATA connectors are used. The Ka SS-650KM and SS-750KM are guaranteed for 5 years. No price has yet been given.
