Like OCZ, SuperTalent has also redesigned its PCI Express RAID SSD. The RAIDDrive version 2.0 sees the black casing replaced with an aluminium casing and also now has a fan. It measures 258 x 112 x 25 mm and uses the PCI Express 8X interface. Inside, you’ll find an Intel IOP348 controller clocked at 1.2 GHz as well as 512 MB of DDR2-667 ECC. The three different ranges offer versions with drive capacities from 192 GB to 2 TB. SuperTalent has announced record performance levels higher than the OCZ Z-Drive: Reads of 1.4 GB/s and writes of 1.2 GB/s, no less.

The range, available as of October, is divided into three series:
- RAIDDrive GS forr Gamers: capacities from 192 GB to 2 TB using MLC flash - Configuration RAID 0 or 5
- RAIDDrive WS for WorkStation: capacities from 192 GB to 1 TB using SLC flash - Configuration RAID 0 or 5
- RAIDDrive ES for Enterprise Servers: capacities from 192 GB to 1 TB using SLC flash - Configuration RAID 0 or 5 with a battery backup
For the moment the only price announced is for the RAIDDrive GS 1 TB that will cost a whopping $4999$.
