NVIDIA has put new drivers on line for the GPU series for the GeForce M notebooks. These drivers are for all laptops with GeForce 8M, 9M, 100M and 200M GPUs. Note that there are some exceptions, notably the Hybrid SLI notebooks; the drivers for these notebooks are available directly from the manufacturer rather than NVIDIA.
The main changes are: support for CUDA 2.2, OPENGL 3.0, support for ambiant occlusion as well as improvements in performance in some games:
- Up to 25% performance improvement in The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Up to 22% performance improvement in Crysis: Warhead - Up to 11% performance improvement in Fallout 3 - Up to 14% performance improvement in Far Cry 2 - Up to 45% performance improvement in Mirror's Edge
