3 new Intel CPUs - BeHardware

As expected, Intel has just announced three new processors:

- The Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2.5 GHz, FSB1333, 2x2 MB of L2), $224
- The Pentium Dual Core E5300 (2.6 GHz, FSB800, 2 MB of L2), $86
- The Celeron Dual Core E1500 (2.2 GHz, FSB800, 512 KB of L2), $53

While the first two are in 45nm, the Celeron Dual Core is still in 65nm. Note that the E5300 is only $2 more expensive than the E5200 (2.5 GHz), a cut to $76 being projected for January 18 however. The E1500 is at the same price at the E1400 now but the price of the E1400 will be cut by $10. You can already consult our test (in French) of the Q8300 here.
