Doom 3
NVIDIA’s domination is obvious here! The three TurboCache cards are in front of all cards based on RV370 including the X550. The 6600 LE is easily in front of the X700 SE, which has a fillrate twice as big. Intel integrated cores are completely left behind. The performance ratio between all NVIDIA GPU processors is 1 to 7 times higher for the most efficient. As the 7800 GTX is 3 times more efficient the gap increased from 1 to 20 for the current NVIDIA line.
Sims 2
In a completely different style from Doom3, Sims 2 gives the advantage to ATI except for the most “powerful cards”. Intel graphic cores provide pretty good results. They can thank the bench scene, which is not too heavy on the geometry side. It puts them in front of the TurboCache and HyperMemory cards in 1280.
