With 7 cards, play isn’t possible. The fps of entry level NVIDIA graphic cards doesn’t represent the game’s real fluidity, because there are many breaks.

To play this game under comfortable conditions, you have to use the low quality mode for most graphic cards. Here you have the impression you’ve been sent back three years in graphic quality.

FIFA 2005

Comfortable :
1024 x 768 : 6600 GT, 6600, 6600 LE, 6200, 6200 TC 64 MB, 6200 TC 32 MB, 6200 TC 16 MB, PCX 5750, X700 Pro, X700 SE, X600 Pro, X550, X300, X300 SE, X300 SE HM
800 x 600 : i945G, i915G

Acceptable :
1024 x 768 : 6600 GT, 6600, 6600 LE, 6200, 6200 TC 64 MB, 6200 TC 32 MB, 6200 TC 16 MB, PCX 5750, X700 Pro, X700 SE, X600 Pro, X550, X300, X300 SE, X300 SE HM, i945G, i915G

FIFA 2005 uses a special engine, open to criticism for numerous points. The 1280 x 1024 mode doesn’t work because of a bug and the 1600 x 1200 is unplayable with any card even if it runs 10 or 300 FPS. Movements seem to be made with a fixed latency (for example 25 times per second). It isn’t too obvious in low resolution but gives a bothersome impression of a lack of fluidity in high resolution. You have to use 1024 x 768.
